Kenya Gicherori
This AA grade Kenyan coffee is fully washed and comes from Gicherori Station, which was established by the Kibugu Farming Society in 1994. This cooperative works with around 1,100 local farmers who grow the Ruiru 11, SL28, SL34 and Batian varieties at altitudes up to 1800 m above sea level. Gicherori has long-term goals to increase coffee production, do training seminars and improve access to education and sustainable processes for farmers. Gicherori station is located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, where the rich volcanic soil, annual rainfall of almost 2000 mm and the predominance of the SL 28 and SL 34 varieties give the local coffee in this specific area an immense quality.
Vašek - our already famous headroaster - has adjusted the recipe for this coffee in such a way that in the cup you will smell tangerines, lemon and the penetrating sweetness of cane sugar. This washed "Africa" is especially suitable for the filter and is absolutely wonderful.
