Ethiopia Abebe Hilu 100% ARABICA
We sourced the beans for this naturally processed coffee from the Abebe Hilu Farm, which sits at a staggering 2,060 meters above sea level, in Yirgacheffe Province, located in the south of the country. The high altitude creates a climate of warm, sunny days and cool nights that help concentrate the sugars and create a sweet, dense coffee cherry.
Farming practices in Yirgacheffe remain largely traditional. Yirgacheffe farmers usually grow their coffee trees with other food crops. This method is common among smallholder farmers as it maximizes land use and provides food for their families.
Thanks to a combination of cultivation, natural processing and a recipe created by us, this coffee acquires a full body with a high sweetness of peaches and cinnamon and a wonderful fruity aftertaste.
