Uganda Engeya Kisiizi 100% ARABICA
Uganda’s rich volcanic soil and high altitudes create ideal conditions for growing dense and sweet coffee cherries. This fully washed coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in Uganda, who typically farm an average of 0.5 to 1 hectare.
Farmers hand-pick ripe coffee cherries and deliver them to washing stations or to local collection agents nearby. Upon delivery, the cherries are sorted to remove underripe and overripe fruit as well as any foreign impurities.
This coffee is certified by the Rainforest Alliance, ensuring practices focused on ecosystem protection and the preservation of biodiversity.
